Exploratory research – Quick scan Explosive Remnants of War (OO)

Several factors play a role in the design phase of construction projects, infrastructure works and spatial developments. One of these factors is the possible presence of explosive remnants of war. According to the Working Conditions Decree (Arbobesluit 2.26), you as a client are obliged to already take into account the requirements that apply to Explosive Remnants of War.

In the implementation phase, an Orientation Study is not mandatory, but it does constitute a minimum document that can provide an indication of whether control measures with regard to explosive remnants of war are necessary to ensure the safety and health of employees (Arbobesluit 4.10).
