At Freyr, safety and efficiency are key in the approach, identification, storage and disposal of explosives. Our specialist team ensures that every object with the characteristics of an explosive is carefully inspected and classified.
Explosives and objects are identified, distinguishing debris and scrap from Explosive Remnants of War. Where possible, debris and scrap are professionally removed to clean up the project area.
Securing and Clearing Explosives – When Explosive Remnants of War (ERW) are encountered, they are identified, removed and temporarily secured. This allows the project to proceed without delay and the explosives to be transferred to the EODD at an appropriate time.
Civil Engineering Support – If required, Freyr provides additional support to the EODD to ensure the clearance proceeds efficiently and without delay.
